Relatively straight forward on the post production with just a little bit of dodging and burning. Original cropped severely to home in on the action and body language of the surfer before converting to mono by creating a new fill adjustment layer and selecting SOLID COLOR (black) and COLOR blending mode on 100% opacity.

Great action shot with good expression on the face. In terms of composition there is a lot of dead space on the left side. I realize this gives him room to move into, but perhaps a gentle crop might help. Posted: 12/11/2024 19:30:50
