Nice handling and balance of light and shadow. There is a strong leading line from the open sky down through the gorge to the broken off rock at bottom left. That rock is firmly planted so acts as a foil to stop the viewer wandering further down and out the bottom and so works well from a compositional viewpoint. I like the colours in the original but the bright blue patch drags my eye straight up there so I think the mono works well as it does'nt have that same distraction.   Posted: 12/06/2024 10:17:31

I like the detail in the rocks, although it is a bit washed out at the top where the sun caught the lip. I am amazed that this is a 3 exposure HDR treatment?   Posted: 12/11/2024 19:27:45
