About the Image(s)
This is an image collected from my old image archive of 2017. While I was on a flight to a river bank destination. I carried my camera with me. During a break in between my flights, I was strolling around and found a couple of workers unloading the salt bags from a truck. I got an interesting angle and shot them. This image was captured by my Nikon D7100, a little after the mid day hours on 25th August 2017.
I took this shot with a f18, 1/320 sec with an ISO of 160 with no flash. A simple crop and light adjustment is done by cs6 and there it is, for you to give your feedback. This image was captured from a distance from a lower angle.
I hope you enjoy the image and any feedback is welcome.

I edited your photograph using Camera Raw and Photoshop. First, I cropped it to bring further attention to the man with the hook. Then, I adjusted the lighting slightly. Your thoughts?   Posted: 11/10/2025 02:28:34
Greetings my friend.
I think you have done a fantastic job with the camera raw and photoshop.I like the version that you have created. Thank you again.
Cheers.

I love the composition and lighting in this one. The B&W treatment is very suitable - at the risk of being too picky - there appears to be a halo around the man on top. Could this be due to the camera or the treatment of the sky in PS?
Cheers

Greetings my friend.
The halo around the man on top, could be due to the camera setting and the treatment of the sky in PS both, I believe.
Thank you for your feedback.
Cheers.

welcome to the group - I look forward seeing your pictures and getting your valuable input.
As I am doing lots of photography in the street I very much admire the clear concept of the picture: the regular white bags as contrast to Captain Hook.
Similar to Pete I probably would have cropped it closer, eg as square (or as a 3:2 with less sky). I am fight myself regularly against the halos, which typically come from post-production (eg dehazing of sky). A trick to remove it is to make a brush with the countermedicine (eg negative haze if this is the cause) with a low densitiy and the brush over the halo until it disappears. Obviously the first step is to know the cause ;-)
Take care and all the best, A
