About the Image(s)
Two weeks ago, I visited the imposing Castel San Elmo (medieval fortification/palace) in Naples, Italy. It has been used for various purposes throughout the ages to this day and is very worthwhile visiting. The helmet structure in the picture is part of a permanent art installation. Naples has become very touristy and busy - there are many weary tourists walking around. This is what formed the idea behind the image - the helmet structure is there like Big Brother lording over a dejected citizen.
