About the Image(s)
Photo taken while there were a few snow flurries. The
window was on a brick wall painted black and as you can see the original image is already essentially in monochrome. I worked on a couple of versions - this one where the pattern in the brick wall is still visible and others where I increased the contrast so that the black wall becomes just a black surface. The higher the contrast the more the image becomes minimalistic.
Technical details : from memory- Canon Eos R, EF 24-105 lens , no significant settings.

Michael, you've created a "near-abstract". I like the composition and simplicity of your image. The brick wall adds great interest, and the snow ties the image together. I admire your ability to see the possibilities in your original photograph, which is not particularly interesting to me. Very well done!

Michael,
A creative end state of your original. The details in the black brick joints and the block wall remain adds interest to your scene as do the white snow flakes. I enjoy simple images that may you stop and examine them
Well done
