Title: Crescent Bay.
This was shot at one of my favorite places to shoot in Laguna Beach, California. The settings are ISO 640, 70-200 at 105mm, f2.8, and 1/640.
This sport is called skimboarding. The rider runs from the sand, jumps on a board and slides to the wave making a 'u turn' and coming back to shore riding the wave. This particular beach rarely has waves, but it has such a nice background that whenever there are some waves there, I always make a few phone calls to try to shoot over there. I have 4 flashes on the sand to light up the rider and the wave.
