August 2023 - Street Painting

Street Painting was created a few years ago in Lake worth – Florida, where every year there is a Street Painting competition. Every contender is given a section of the pavement on the main street, and they have 2 days to finish their project. This man, in addition to be laying on the ground while painting, was wearing a bra.
I used a Nikon D750 with the Sigma wide angle lens 14 mm f/1.8 mounted on a mini tripod and at ground level and triggered with a remote control. Several images were obtained, but this is the one I like the most. The image was PP in LightRoom and cropped after straightening the horizon line.

I did look back to March 2020 and found that I like this image a lot better as the toning, the position of the painter, the leading lines formed by the pavement markings , the buildings and trees all help to keep focus on the subject. The colouring is such that nothing distracts and there is enough detail to provide a glimpse of what he is doing. I have no suggestions or ideas on what else can, may, or should be done to improve the image. I like it exactly as presented. Posted: 08/03/2023 09:19:56
Isaac -- I like the palm trees framing the main figure. I like that you apparently got right down on the ground with the main subject which works great since he's surrounded by his pavement artwork. Isaac - Now that is getting down really low to capture an image! This is definitely a unique perspective of a street artist (I thought he was wearing a bikini), capturing the art, the artist and his smile, and the people on the street.
