Description: Oslo's opera house is a photographer's playground. The setting, the building, the reflections, are all wonderful fun to explore and photograph. The architecture's appearance is described as like an iceberg which gives a pretty good idea of the enormity of the building and the whiteness of the marble exterior. The building is accessible by a series of ramps which also provide a great view of the city and harbor. The interior is interesting also, but that's for another time. Hope you enjoy it

Kathleen, this image has a lot of strong positive features including leading lines, the reflection of the not seen in the frame sitting people, and the strongest is the presence of the person looking down at the end of the walkway on the left (my left). I cloned out the crane in the back since it is distracting. I prefer the semi sepia version better.   Posted: 03/09/2025 10:57:43
Thanks, Isaac. I have to admit I like the crane because it seems to interact with the figure, but I appreciate your suggestion.   Posted: 03/23/2025 15:44:42
Excellent Photo. Deep focus. Straight lines. Domination of linearity on human spirit, is I feel is the essence of the image. I would keep the frame as it adds to the story, as I see it.   Posted: 03/16/2025 15:31:57

Kathleen - Clearly this image was made thoughtfully. You take the viewer into the scene concluding with the three people at the end. You did a nice job with the cropping and angles as well. B   Posted: 03/21/2025 11:33:23
