About the Image(s)
This image was created at the Carmel Market in Tel Aviv - Israel. The market was established in the 1920s. The market is open every day of the week, except Shabbat (Saturday), and sells mostly food but also a variety of items, such as home accessories and flowers. Tuesdays and Fridays are the signature days at the market as several independent artists and vendors sell unique crafts, art, and jewelry.
Used a Nikon D850 with the Nikkor zoom lens 28-300 mm f/3.5-5.6 @ 28 mm and these settings: ISO 200, f/8 and 1/250 sec. The image was PP in LightRoom and slightly cropped.

Isaac--This colorful display certainly makes my mouth water. The vendor is just an accessory; the fruit is the main interest, of course, and you present it beautifully.   Posted: 02/14/2025 16:55:54
Superb Image. Great POV and nice composition. These two factors tell a story through this image. I would argue while the fruit seller is not dominant in the image (he shouldn't be), without his presence the image would be boring. It is the human touch.
I would tweak the Vibrancy, red and orange channels in Lightroom and see how it looks. Maybe you have already done that. Great Work.   Posted: 02/17/2025 02:11:35

Isaac-Such a colorful image and the composition tells a good story story. The photo makes me want to go out right now for some juicy oranges and grapefruits (it may be possible as just landed in Colombia for a week with the birds). B   Posted: 02/17/2025 17:12:38
When I first looked at this what caught my eye is the colours, they in my mind made the image, (not a negative) and my only comparision would be in South America where the markets use the technique to draw attention to the wares, The image is sharp and without the vendor would be a standalone good street scene. After looking beyond the colours the Vender comes into the scene, and creates the story behind it. Well done.   Posted: 02/20/2025 15:15:28
