About the Image(s)
A few years ago, we were headed for the Jewish Museum in Miami and when we arrived we discovered parking was competing with an election for one of the South American countries. So we headed elsewhere and came across the opportunity to shoot this image.

Bev, it looks like it is a very sunny and warm day, and the man is trying to refresh himself. Obviously the vendors are promoting products derivative from the coconut and nicely displayed. The vendor seems happy, perhaps after the sale.   Posted: 02/07/2025 18:18:55
Bev--My suggestion is to crop close and make the image about the two figures: the smiling vendor who just made a sale and the happy customer. This would also eliminate the bright tent roof. I want a coconut shake!   Posted: 02/14/2025 17:28:40

I would concur with Kathleen on this one.   Posted: 02/17/2025 02:03:09

Bev- I focused on the man with the drink first. He has a pleased look on his face. I then saw the smiling vendor's big smile -- made me smile as well. Agree that a tighter crop would strengthen the image. B   Posted: 02/17/2025 11:10:37

I like this image, it has a story, which includes both persons, and is something that is common , or shows one component of life on the streets. My only suggestion would be to crop the top of the stall to eliminate the white which to some degree overpowers the image.   Posted: 02/20/2025 15:20:20
