Took this image in China. We were heading back to our hotel by bus when we were greeted with a flat tire on the bus just as we were passing a rice paddy. We wound up being the attractions for the workers and those who could, came up to greet us. These three ladies were quite excited to meet us and have their pictures taken. Our tour guide was happy to interpret for us and what could have been a boring situation waiting for assistance, turned out to be enjoyable and photographically profitable.

Three ladies happy to pose and get a break from their daily? work. While more of the surroundings would add to the story and give some context, I think the moment as well captured in your image, ie: the facial expressions, would be lost Posted: 01/08/2025 23:35:21

Can't answer you on the data as it was shot in 2008 before I was involved in camera clubs, etc. and the only data listed on the image history and date shot. As to her right temple, it was a bright sunny day which may have affected the lighting. If you note, each of the faces is lit a bit differently. Posted: 01/15/2025 03:19:35
