About the Image(s)
Took this while walking in Havana. Amazing to me how many of these I could have shot and how oblivious the Cubans are to the dangers of smoking.
Didn't require too much work except resizing and adjusting to jpg format.

Bev, good image but the man gets overpowered by the two old canons, however framing him.Cuba is full of photo opportunities.   Posted: 11/06/2024 21:35:32

Thanks. Wish I could look forward to a return but it's not in the cards   Posted: 11/06/2024 23:11:07

Hi Bev, I like the timing of the image showing the man lighting his smoke I cropped it somewhat so that the cannons form a frame to the man and also enlarged the man showing his features a bit better. made a slight adjustment to the overall toning and a bit more sharpening in Topaz   Posted: 11/09/2024 16:02:30

Excellent concept. Superb image. There's a rythm in the image created by the two cannons. I agree with Ed's crop since we can't do anything about the foreground cannon let's crop the background cannon so that balance and rythm is maintained.   Posted: 11/10/2024 19:24:05

Bev--This is wonderful. I agree with Ed's crop. I think the canons add an interesting element but they do overpower the figure somewhat in your image so the crop seems to help that. Cuba must be a great place to photograph. I'm envious.   Posted: 11/17/2024 16:18:15

Bev - You found a very photogenic subject. The action, colors and the canons are all of interest and add to the photo. Ed's crop makes a good image even better. B   Posted: 11/19/2024 22:18:46
