Above is an image of two children preparing for a festival parade in Cusco, Peru. They were very accommodating about letting me take their picture.
This semester in school I am taking a business photography class and the final project is to have 2 portfolios of 15 images taken from this semester and create a website to display them on. Website design is not part of the course. I created my website using Weebly and my website is pjaffephotography.square.site I chose to do headshots and jewelry so if you are wondering why you have seen a number of headshots over the past few months, that is the reason.
I used a Nikon Z6ii and 24 to 74 lens.

Pauline, looks like another lovely travel picture. To make this less portrait like, I wonder if tilting the picture or next time, tilting your camera, you might have a little different look? instead of the traditional face forward look?
I did take a look at your portrait photos, they are nicely captured. However, the yellow background on a number of them are less flattering than some other colors. I wonder if you played with any other background colors? Posted: 05/07/2025 22:44:49

I'm enjoying your photos from Peru and even sharing them with my neighbor who grew up there. When I see them in traditional costumes, I would almost like to see their full bodies. The background is handled nice with your aperture settings. I will have to go to the website and take a look at Mohr. Posted: 05/11/2025 20:54:38
