About the Image(s)

The fun part of constructing this image was in creating the illusion of depth using the repetition of the Druids and of the arches. Photoshop’s Free Transform was essential in resizing and moving the Druids and the arches. In addition, the Layer Mask was needed to create the illusion of depth by “erasing” places that showed overlapping. I lit the 2 street lights with the Gradient tool using the Layer Mask to confine the light to the lamp. Then a dash of lowering the opacity created the illusion of light. Before Stamping Up, I added soft shadows. After giving the final image a coating of blue-gray with a “LUT” (Color Lookup dropdown in the Adjustment Layer menu), I sharpened the complete image.
