I used Topaz denoise. In LR, I severely cropped, decreased exposure on background, increased saturation, removed bud on right, and burned in some flare spots and bud on right.
We were recently in Rathmullen, Northern Ireland, where we had the good fortune to enjoy beautiful sunny weather. The locals told us that we were experiencing their two weeks of summer. Spring was in full swing, and the birds and blooms were everywhere. In the British Isles, birds are sometimes identified using different names from those we use in America.

Great crop. The curves of the branches and bird lead my attention through the image, and the repeated colors in the bird and flowers balance it nicely. The bird's head may be a bit too bright. I particularly like the contrast between the fierce glare of the birds eyes and the coy tilt of his head. Posted: 05/11/2025 00:25:44
