Although I can view your original, your image appears as a tiny icon that does not respond to any attempts to view it.   Posted: 11/02/2024 16:43:49

I tested the original photo and it popped up full size. I'm not sure what to do now.   Posted: 11/10/2024 00:21:02

I copied the link to the image by right clicking on it, then I opened that link in another Chrome window. The attached image is what appeared. I like it. When I enlarge the image it looks like the eyes are closed, not open as some have commented. The seaweed looks as though it has been enhanced with an artistic filter to simulate oil painting, however, the otter's head looks normal. That round stem on the left looks just like a huge metal bracelet on his arm. Altogether this is a fascinating image.   Posted: 11/10/2024 02:12:06

Well, I can see the image on my laptop, but again it wont appear on the PSA site. STRANGE.   Posted: 11/10/2024 02:15:01

A great portrait of the Otter with the kelp adding a sense of place. Amazingly sharp with good detail in the fur and colors blending with the smoothness of the water. Love the curious look on its face!   Posted: 11/03/2024 22:12:49

I love sea otters, they are so cute (but they are not afraid to bite!).   Posted: 11/10/2024 00:21:56

What I like best about the image is that you cptured it almost at water level. I feel like the otter is looking right at me. Both eyes are sharp and have catch light. There is a lot of detail and the colors work well, Very well done. Was this done handheld? How close were you (I am curious about focal length.)   Posted: 11/09/2024 21:03:13

Hi, The focal length was 263mm and I was using a 100-400 zoom lens. The fog was fairly high. I did hand hold the camera. The waves were moving the otter up and down so a monopod would not have helped me. Thank you for your comments.   Posted: 11/10/2024 00:20:03

Like Judith I can not see your edited image, not even trying Judith's method and opening in another chrome window. I can however see it on my phone. I think your crop is just right as it places the subject front and center with no distractions around it. Very sharp and I love the eye contact. The angle of the water behind him looks crooked so I might try straightening the image and then cropping to see what it looks like. Well done.   Posted: 11/17/2024 21:58:36

Sorry about the problem seeing the image. I agree, I could straighten him up. Thank you for the suggestion!   Posted: 11/18/2024 00:42:18

Like some of the others I can only see the thumbail view. It is a nice portrait of the otter, you caught the eyes open. I do agree with Pamela's comment regaring the water looking a bit crooked. Well done.
