I was on my patio watching for Hummingbirds when a Robin stopped by for a bath. Since that morning he comes to the Birdbath every day.

What a great catch. I did a few changed to it such as straighten it and crop a bit more. Love the colors and splashes of the water. Good job Paul!   Posted: 07/04/2024 18:28:23

My mistake I selected the wrong one for submission.   Posted: 07/04/2024 18:49:35

Fantastic photograph of the robin. Much better crop. I would even crop it closer to the bowl of the birdbath. Those brighter gold tones are pulling my eye towards the bottom of the frame.   Posted: 07/05/2024 18:00:15

Wonderful timing. I especially like the oval created by the water and the bird. It pulls you right in to the picture. I agree with Stewart's comment about cropping more off the bottom and the left.   Posted: 07/05/2024 20:07:43

Paul, terrific capture. The color is great and the "stopped action" is very appealing to the eye. I like the water droplets around the subject and coming off of the birdbath. Your corrected submission is nicely sharp. Very good!   Posted: 07/06/2024 21:13:16

Very nice catch Paul and caught at the peak of action. Really like Jamie's crop because that vertical line or pole on the left draws your eye. The lighting accentuates the story and the water splash and drops really make it.   Posted: 07/07/2024 12:25:28

Just added a touch of vibrance to see if it would pop which I think it did. What do you think?   Posted: 07/27/2024 20:51:28
