About the Image(s)
This image was taken on May 30, 2016 while visiting Cuba. When one arrives at the pier (We arrived on a cruise) there are always a few of the ladies anxious to pose for pictures usually asking $ 5 US. It was shot with my Canon T2I and a Tamron 16-300 lens at 18 mm and an ISO of 400. One of the best trips we ever took and would go back in a heartbeat.

Bev- Great image. I like to pose and especially the cigar! She is an attractive subject. Evidently you arrived at midday. Pretty bright light. Love the background!   Posted: 09/03/2023 19:49:10

Oh! Lloyd made a good point about the bottom of the frame. Generally speaking, I think what you chose for a background fits the subject and her pose. It is certainly way better that the building in the raw image. Fits the subject!   Posted: 09/06/2023 13:31:02
Nicely done! The catch lights in her eyes are a bit too strong. The background is good, however maybe blend it in at the bottom instead of the straight line.   Posted: 09/05/2023 11:00:03
Bev, this image brought back many great memories. We have been fortunate enough to spend many weeks in Havana and the surrounding areas. These ladies dress to the nines were alway in certain areas especially Plaza De La Catedral. Several times I did get them for $ to light up their cegars and blow smoke. Same lady! Love it.   Posted: 09/09/2023 17:17:44
