About the Image(s)
I was in the Pantanal (Brazil) in early September when I captured this image. I went to the Pantanal to photograph jaguars, but came home with a lot of other wildlife images. The marmosets are small and very fast. They do not sit still for long. I probably took 30 photos to get a single decent image. I edited the image in both PS and LRC. I tried to minimize the blue sky by cropping and darkening the blue color. I also removed many distracting branches.
ISO 400, f/4.5, 1/1600. I rented the new Sony 100-400 f/4.5 lens and it worked nicely.

Stephanie, your Marmoset is outstanding. It has great visual impact and interest. You also have sharpness in critical areas and the background is definitely non-distracting. Wouldn't change anything.   Posted: 10/03/2026 18:30:17

I really love this Stephanie. Particularly his tail and the way it positioned. Love the background colors too. You did well capturing his eye. Great job!!!   Posted: 10/03/2026 18:50:50

Stephanie, this is a terrific image. Sharp subject and a nicely out of focus background. You did a nice job post processing!

Stephanie, beautiful image. Subject is sharp enough and very well separated from the background. Only thing I would do is darkening the tree branches and saturating the colors on Marmoset (Yellow/Orange).   Posted: 10/10/2026 14:47:09
