About the Image(s)
I had taken this photo in December after the wreaths were laid in Arlington cemetery. My intent was to capture the tomb of the unknown solder with the flavor of the other nearby graves. I made a composite of two images. I took a bit of artistic license with the background. The main image was taken with the Canon R5 with a 24-105mm f4 at 40mm, f7.1, 1/80 sec and iso 400. Images imported into LR for basic processing and combined in photoshop.
Thank you

Very moving image. Strong composition and impactful treatment of the background. I had a hard time reading the words on the main tomb, so bringing the letters out ever so slightly would be nice. Nice image.   Posted: 10/04/2026 20:23:24

A great image, Richard. I really like the ghosting effect on the tombstones in the background. Have you considered converting it to B&W? That might bring out more contrast and a different mood.   Posted: 10/10/2026 14:22:23
