About the Image(s)
Please find attached my submission for May.
This was taken with a Ricoh GR III using a slow shutter speed at the Logan Square subway in Chicago. I did a lot of adjustments in Light Room with hue, saturation and using the Curve to get a very frantic, "loud" image.

Bridget, I was just enjoying some of the images just posted for April and yours really caught my attention! Wow! Love the colors, leading lines, intentional blur. Not sure if it is just me but it does feel slightly skewed to the right? Regardless, great job!

I love the feeling of motion in this photo. I agree with Dorina that it seems tilted a bit. Nice capture and colors.   Posted: 04/02/2026 18:35:17
Thank you Dorina yes,a little tilted but the photo is supposed to represent frenzy so maybe it works? Not sure but I appreciate your comments!   Posted: 04/02/2026 19:29:16

Bridget, excellent example of intentional motion blur. The slow shutter speed really made it happen without making it unrecognizable. Obviously she was late and racing for her subway car. I tried straightening the image and didn't like it at all. Love it the way you presented it.   Posted: 04/07/2026 23:32:04
I like the image. The color red always captures attention and then your supporting colors balance well with the image. It is well exposed and shutter drag really works here. I like the framing and tilted perspective as it adds to the frantic feel of the image.   Posted: 04/08/2026 00:43:21
This accomplished what you were looking very well. It may be my 88 year old eyes, but I really don't see the tilt standing out   Posted: 04/12/2026 20:20:06
