This photo was taken at a casino in Reno, NV. Behind the bar they had these glasses placed on tiered shelves. The original color was bland, almost black and white. I did enjoy the repeating patterns and the magnification and distorition caused by the glasses in front of the other glasses.
In photoshop, I removed all of the color (what little there was) and then colorized the individual glasses for a festive look.

Stewart, very interesting image. Would have liked to have seen the bland image. Looks like you put a lot of work into this. Your colorization is very well done and your color choices, definition and sharpness are right on. I did think is was a tad dark so I lightened it. What do you think? Maybe too light? I did a photo similar to this with wine bottles. Some of our group might remember it. I love the symmetry of the glasses and you did a spectacular job adding color to them. So nice! Posted: 07/27/2025 23:41:18
