About the Image(s)
My image is entitled "End of a Perfect Day". I took this with my iPhone 12 ProX as I was leaving one of our 9 golf courses in Hot Springs Village, AR. I am blessed to live in such a gorgeous area of the country. I am an avid golfer and so enjoy the sights on a golf course. This particular day showed off a fantastic sunset, mountains in the background and a well manicured golf course.

Jamie,
This is a very pleasing scene. I can easily imagine looking up from my game and pausing to take in this view.
I did a feedback image. I found the building (cottage?) along the lower right of the frame distracting and thought cropping in some would focus more attention towards the center of the frame.
Very nice shot and it's good to have a smart phone handy for such things!   Posted: 07/02/2025 18:00:35

I totally agree with your crop Donald!! Not sure why I did not notice it too. Thanks!   Posted: 07/10/2025 16:25:02
Beautiful calming landscape Jamie. Do like Donalds slight right side crop or that house could have been burned in slightly. Love the sun, sky, warmth and the feeling of depth of the mountains. Very nice!   Posted: 07/03/2025 23:10:00
Many thanks Captain! I agree with his crop too!   Posted: 07/10/2025 16:25:51
You caught a beautiful moment. The photo leads me it as I tee off. I am ready to walk down the fairway. You are blessed to live in a beautiful part of the USA. Maybe worth the effort to set up a tripod and your camera and capture more at different focal lengths. Well done!

Yes, I do like in a beautiful location. We have 9 golf courses along with tennis, pickleball, lakes, etc. Unfortunately I can't take my tripod when I play but agree that I could when I am not playing. Thanks for your comments!   Posted: 07/10/2025 16:27:42
Makes me want to learn golf. I love the image. I am with the camp that finds the cottage distracting.   Posted: 07/08/2025 18:45:02
I also agree with Donald's crop. You should learn golf. It is a great sport that you can play as long as you can walk!!!   Posted: 07/10/2025 16:28:47
