Description: Taken a short while ago with my D5100 and 90 mm macro. This is a composite image. The background is a colored gen on my light table. The flower is a closeup of a blossom from one of my wife's flowers. I did a basic paste the flower over the background in Photoshop Elements then erased the unwanted areas around the blossom.

Donald, very interesting image. At first, I said to myself wow that orange really takes over the whole image but the more I looked at it the blossom took over. Not going to say I like it but the vignetted orange does move you right to the blossom. Different! Posted: 04/07/2025 23:21:43

The color selection for the background goes together well with the flower. There is some tension created in the image with the soft focus on the flower and the sharp line of the mask. Posted: 04/15/2025 16:10:43
