About the Image(s)
Taken at a conference where several hot air balloons were set up as photographic subjects.
I used my D40 with a 16 to 85 lens at 85mm. Aperture was f13 and the shutter at 1/40 of a second. This is quite a crop since the original capture had the balloon in the frame. I didn't like a tree branch that was in the way. So, I cropped down and made this image an abstract!!!

Donald, was this taken a few years back a New England Camera Council Conference?
I really like it! If it was flat calm water it would be nice but I think the ripples really make it. Great colors and they really pop. Super abstract image. Posted: 03/04/2025 12:11:17

I like abstract images. This works well with the vibrant color palette. The ripples enhance the interest by bending the light. This is a creative idea. Thank you for sharing. Posted: 03/10/2025 23:37:36

What a wonderful image. I love The yellow tones in the reflection. Very relaxing. Very calming. That would be nice printed in a large format and hanging on the wall. Posted: 03/21/2025 01:17:37
