Image of a miniature Nepalese Buddha statue surrounded by a variety of silver rings. The items are in a glass diplay case located near a window that faces the street. Lighting is a combination of daylight from the window, incandescent light in the business, and a single flash fill for enhancing light in the room.
Basic adjustments for light and color. Used AI to remove one distracting element from the upper left corner. (Adobe AI spot removal tool is really nice.)
This is part of a commercial project that I am working on; photographing various business owners and businesses in my community.

There's an excitement in this image that I really like with all the glittering rings. The pendants above echo the chaos in a different, simpler way. Lovely soft aqua tones.

I too wish that I had a photograph from a lower angle. Also to the left a bit more. This would have brought the statuette up and over into the arch of pendant jewels, framing the statuette better. Posted: 11/05/2024 21:05:13

Stewart, very interesting composition. The lighting accentuates the mood. I too wish the center of interest which is the Buddha was turned around facing the camera or facing left. Posted: 11/05/2024 12:58:00

Sorry about the title error. It's corrected. Very unique image. No major issues but I did think that Buddah was a bit small so enlarged him a bit. What do you think? Posted: 11/11/2024 18:50:40
