About the Image(s)
I took this photo on holidays at the Crows Nest Pass Interpretive Centre in British Columbia, Canada. This flower was found in the rock pile next to the parking lot. It was raining and a little bit of sun just came in behind the rocks. I took the photo with a Samsung 21 as it was the only camera I had with me. The flowers were backlit by muted sunshine, coming in behind the flowers and the rocks. I edited in Lightroom and Luminar Neo. You never know where the next subject to photograph will be. The wildflower is in sharp focus while the rocks in the background are in soft focus. I like the colors of the flower. My eye wants to center the flower in the frame to show what is out of the image to the right. This is a fascinating photograph.   Posted: 07/04/2026 00:04:17

Wow!! Terry the contrast and multi layers of colors really make with flower pop with color. I agree with Keith I guess we photographers always keep our eyes open for next shot. Beautiful wild flower.   Posted: 07/05/2026 14:41:32

Terry, your image has tremendous visual impact and immediately draws the viewer in. The lighting is absolutely perfect, and the color, sharpness, and detail are all outstanding. I hope you don't mind-I removed some of the cut-off leaves on the right to simplify the composition. It's an exceptional image!   Posted: 07/08/2026 12:31:08
This is a beautiful shot of the flowers. I suggest removing all the white areas on the rocks.   Posted: 07/08/2026 13:45:59
I does look better without the white areas. Thanks
