This was taken in Alaska on Douglas Island. With my Nikon z8 24-120mm lens. My setting was, ISO 1000, 89mm, f/4.0 1/3200sec. The eagles were moving fast and flying into a small bay dock drinking water and catching the minions for breakfast. I really didn’t do much editing; I cropped it for sure and possibly a bit of color enhancement to include a small amount of denoising.

This is a nice, well exposed image. Really like the reflection. It is different than most of the eagle shots we see where they're either in flight or in a tree. Nice capture Posted: 10/01/2025 15:50:58
