About the Image(s)

Last year I discovered that the town of Alden, New York, about 10 miles from where I
live, holds a rodeo every Saturday evening during the summer behind one of their
churches. This photograph was taken during my first visit there. The bull in the photo
was by far the most aggressive of the bulls in the rodeo. He has just thrown the rider
and normally one or two horse riders will herd the bull back through the gate and into
the pen after he’s thrown the rider. This bull however, decided he wasn’t going back and

was going to take his revenge on anyone or anything remaining in the ring. This rider
was supposed to be chasing the bull back but the bull had other ideas. It took all of 15-
minutes to finally get him back into the pen.
Little processing on this photo other than the mono conversion, contrast, sharpening,
etc.

Gosh Charles the picture really tells a story. I wish it was more in focus. What an event to witness at the rodeo.   Posted: 02/14/2025 17:00:34

I don't know why it appears out of focus. The image I sent in is sharp.   Posted: 02/14/2025 18:27:08

I sent Stuart a properly sized image and it is posted now. Does it still look blurry to you?   Posted: 02/15/2025 17:01:46

The image size is too small to really see it. Resize it and resend please.   Posted: 02/14/2025 18:56:08

I can resize it, but how do I resend it? Do I have to send it to Stuart? He told me the image I sent was to big, so he resized it.   Posted: 02/14/2025 19:10:55

Resend to Stuart if you want everyone to see it. My e-mail is lvmikeb@icloud.com. BTW there is a great rodeo in Logandale, Nevada every year. it is a first flight rodeo. It is inexpensive and i walk right up to the railing without a pass. you can also shoot bighorn sheep and burrowing owls while in las Vegas.   Posted: 02/14/2025 19:14:26

I sent a resized image to Stuart. Thanks for the tip on the Rodeo in Nevada. It's a bit far for me; I live outside Buffalo, NY.   Posted: 02/14/2025 19:34:25
