1/160, f/10, ISO 1000 at 46 mm (FF).
There is a river in my town. Nice evening (6 PM) in March, and I had my camera. I took some pictures with reflection.
You can find dots in the sky, a little burry. It is not possible, as it is the reflection in the water. Indeed the original picture is the reflection (we don’t see the real buildings, trees and people - see Original 1). I process this image in B&W (Original 2), and I rotated (180?) the image to show it to you. So you don’t see the real buildings, but the reflection in the water, upside down, to give the impression of a ? classic ? view.
LR: increased Exposition, Texture and Clarity, and rotation...

I like your thinking process of showing the reflection. Unfortunately, if I was a viewer and didn't know that it was the reflection I would assume it's just a slightly blurry building. Do you have any images with the actual building shown in addition to the reflection that might be pretty dramatic! The conversion to mono chrome was done very well. Posted: 08/05/2026 20:21:28

Vincent, an interesting idea. But I agree that seeing the actual landscape that is reflected or part of it might work better. Otherwise, the viewer doesn't realize this is a reflection. Posted: 08/09/2026 22:41:27

Vincent - your idea of taking just the reflection works - I've done it (for a colourful scene). But I left it as your Original 2 - so it's obviously a reflection and then I feel it works well. Posted: 08/10/2026 17:04:25
Technically this is very good, to get the detail so good to have the stars reflecting that clear is well done, but as said the image you shown would be hard to see it is a reflection, I initially thought it was about the couple. The coloured image is very strong as it is with a couple of tonal tweaks. Posted: 08/12/2026 09:30:58
