About the Image(s)
Taken from a bridge above a river a few years ago. There were several rocks where snow and ice gathered into exciting shapes. This is a large rock with many shapes and textures that I thought to be interesting.
Made a few adjustments in the Lightroom Basic tab.
As can be seen, it is mostly B&W to start with, but I did convert to B&W in Silver Efex where I selected preset #20 Fine Art High Key. I also added a vignette in Lightroom.
Shot with Olympus EM1 MK II, Olympus 40-150mm at 125mm. 1/1600th f2.8 and ISO 200.

The work that you have done to this image has improved it immensely and has made it stronger and given it more impact. The shapes are nice. But I do wonder if the image in the first place was strong enough to hold any treatment. Sorry. Posted: 01/16/2025 10:37:56
I love the abstract nature and textures of this photo. The only suggestion I have is to lighten the dark shape in the upper left so there is less contrast as in your original photo. Posted: 01/17/2025 20:59:36
