Just below Chichester is a lovely area that includes West Wittering and Selsey. There are stretches of sandy beaches and a natural harbour. This at the start of a lovely walk to East Head and Chichester Marina which is an area of outstanding beauty. So I show you some old beach huts. But I just loved how they sit in the surrounds and the sand has built is own defence. But I have to ask, how many times have they had to dig them out of the sand.
Lightroom, Topaz and Silver Efex.

Paul, great composition with the row of beach huts, the line of the sand at the top of the mound, the trees behind...all lead the eye into the frame. Nice contrast in the sky and sand. And all the textures are brought out. It makes me want to go there and explore. Very nicely done.   Posted: 12/16/2024 20:59:07

At first sight, this is subject and composition for a B&W picture. I like it. Beautiful sky and lines with the sand.
However, the beautiful colors are lost (the blue on the first one, the multicolor panels on the second one, and the red on the fourth one). Except that, the B&W is stronger with the contrast.

This image evokes the feeling of being on the beach years ago. The use of black and white processing brings attention to the lines and patterns. Nicely done. The color image is also nice but my attention stays on the blue hut and isn't as interested in following the line of huts into the photo.   Posted: 12/18/2024 15:25:55
