The sharp details of the boat and the water are great, but I think more is needed at the top and bottom of the photo. It feels like too much is missing.   Posted: 04/06/2026 22:17:38

Thanks for your feedback. I can see your point about the top and bottom of the frame; will keep that in mind next time!   Posted: 04/06/2026 23:45:49

You have capture the Yacht the detail is very good and the white is not blown out. It is a shame that your took it when you did and it is up against the other boat it would have been better a couple of seconds latter. The time of day is great. But I am surprised that you don't have any of that colour from the sky in the water. Now I am wondering if a portrait image may have been better here, With that you would have had more if not all of the Yacht in the image. Pleasing image. Is this what they call sailing off into the sunset?   Posted: 04/07/2026 09:24:58

Thanks for your feedback. You are correct; the composition would be improved without the second boat behind the subject. Timing is such a tricky thing! (Sometimes waiting helps, other times the compositional angle is lost.)

And yes, a portrait orientation would have been a better choice for including more of the subject, a good suggestion.

I agree with the previous comments. The colors and sharp details really make this. I also thought that making this a portrait instead of a hozizontal a position would enhance the view of boat. The overall content is well interesting.   Posted: 04/08/2026 18:20:04

I scroll my screen several times, I thought your image was cut off in my screen. I don't know why you cropped and cut the top of the boat.
I agree with others friend's comment.   Posted: 04/13/2026 02:50:45
