Each year the famous Cotswold Village decorates the village and stands a large decorated tree in the middle of the river Windrush that flows through the centre of the main village. This night, it was only 10 to six. The village was empty, the rain was biblical and the win seemed to blow wherever I went, but the tree did grow in the dim weather light. I must say the rest of the decorations have dropped in scale greatly.
Just lifted the tones and colour to a viewable level but not to lose that storm in the background.

A gorgeous and unusual Christmas picture - what an idea to have a decorated, lighted tree in the middle of a river! Appreciate the backstory about the epic storm; that is certainly part of the story in the picture. Love the misty look, and the beautiful reflections on the water; those shimmery reflections are delicious!. Great job on lifting the tones and colours; complement the storm behind.   Posted: 12/06/2025 00:42:20
Merry Christmas Paul! The tree looks beautiful and I love the reflection of the light on the water. And I like the foggy background.   Posted: 12/11/2025 03:39:45
