This is another photograph from my trip to Ireland this past June and July. (This particular photograph was taken in July.) I didn’t have a camera with me on this trip, so I took photos with my cell phone (Pixel 9). The first day my husband and I visited this spot, which is called Ladies View because of the strong admiration of its beauty by Queen Victoria’s ladies-in-waiting during her visit to Ireland in 1861, it was almost completely hidden by fog. I’ve included a second photo I took on that day as well, so that you can see how thick the fog can get there. Determined to see the beautiful view we’d read about, we went back on a clear day. It was totally worth the drive!
Data on my cell phone: This photo was taken at f/1.7, 1/1041 sec., ISO-22. This photo is unedited.

That is indeed one beautiful view that's worthy of a second visit. I can see why you decided to take this image vertically - I find my eye going from bottom to top. I would however like to see this in landscape mode and less of the foreground. I would also crop out some of the clouds. Maybe add a bit more contrast as well.   Posted: 10/11/2025 04:39:20

That is a very pleasing view, I thought when I first saw it that it had to be this way, North Wales maybe, So Ireland does not surprise me. I have to admit I would have love to see a landscape version or even an panorama if your phone has that option, as I want to see more. But what you have shown is very pleasing and is well worth a touch more work to give it a touch more tonality and a touch more sharpness.
But very pleasing.   Posted: 10/13/2025 09:52:51
