About the Image(s)

I took this photo while riding in a bus for a tour of the southern coast of Iceland this January. The landscape is simply incredible and winter just gives it a more dramatic flare. The foreground is all ice and it nicely reflected the mountain. I was lucky to capture this while the bus was speeding away. It was around 11am but the sun was just coming up.

I used blending in Photoshop to remove the haze caused by the window and to make the colors more vivid. There were some reflections on the window but I cropped them out. I used ISO 6400, F/4.5 and a shutter speed of 1/250. I used a high speed continuous shooting mode and picked the one that gave me the sharpest view of the mountain and the foreground without the movement blur. I used Topaz to remove the noise.
