Petworth House is a must visit if you ever visit the Southeast England. Situated just outside of the village of Petworth, which is a joy, Petworth is a sight to behold, vast grounds and parkland and an ornate 17th century house to explore. Partly remodelled in the late 1800, it is the southern residence of the Percy Family.

It most famous claim to fame is its world renown art collection which includes one of the best collections of Turners known. The only warning if you intent to visit is get here early as it is very popular. We go twice a year just to see the art. Eat in the village.
