About the Image(s)
I took this just after Christmas in Magoebaskloof South Africa. I was standing in the stream. Settings was :
Nikon z8, Nikon 16-35mm lens at 29mm EV=0, 5seconds F11 of a tripod. Processing in Lightroom

Wow you would not have known that was South Africa, could have been taken over here in Welsh mountains or up in the Yorkshire Dales.
Your choice of setting are as always spot on the give the silky smooth water and just the right softness to the falls. The detail in the rocks and leaves are nice. I do look at this and wonder if it would look better in Monochrome as the image is leaning that way. So I had a look and it does not, it needs the colour to hold the depth. This is very a serene and peaceful capture. The color tones alone keep my eye attached and doesn't let go. I really like the 'silky smooth water' (Paul) that truly makes the image. Nicely done.   Posted: 01/21/2025 11:52:10
