About the Image(s)
Every year, on the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack in New York City that took out the twin towers of the World Trade Center, the city shines these two massive lights all night to commemorate all the innocent lives lost. These lights shine all night til dawn the following morning. This year was my first time to see these lights. I went out with a group of Photo Club friends to shoot. I was able to get a picture of Lady Liberty as well.
I took this with a tripod. I used a 70-200mm lens, and exposed the shot for 25 secs. I

Wonderful skyline showing great detail and sharpness. Using a tripod was well worth it. The angle and composition whereas the Statue of Liberty is prominent amongst the scenery, having the Twin Lights and World Trade Tower somehow frames the statue. I like this a lot Nenette...very well captured.   Posted: 11/06/2024 02:57:59

Lovely night image. Lovely small aperture effect you got with the star burst off the light and pin sharp   Posted: 11/06/2024 17:05:53

This is a beautiful picture. You composed it well so everything is balanced. It's also nice and sharp which is challenging to achieve in night photography.
This picture also tells multiple stories and leaves your thoughts lingering on this picture longer.

A very Poniente and moving memory or a very tragic moment in time.
As for the image it is a work of art and need to be printed large as you can and mounted on a wall. That is the best way to appreciate it. It will light up a room. Masterpiece.   Posted: 11/11/2024 10:39:13

Wow, nice night cityscape image. Those two giant torch make dynamic of this image rather than only boring dark sky. I agree with Paul comment to print this and mounted in the wall. Can I save this in my hard drive ?   Posted: 11/13/2024 13:18:31
