About the Image(s)
I came across this lone flower in my files with the only identifier that I shot it in 2022. Trimmed off some extraneous "branches" and came up with this.

Bev, I like the image. The subject appears to have a slight halo around it which adds interest. The background is very good. I'd be tempted to crop down a little, but leave the base. Nice work!

A nice image, I would crop some off the top and remove the two branches.   Posted: 07/21/2024 16:21:21

Bev,
I agree thisis a lovely image and the painterly background appeals to me. Frank's tighter crop highlights the flower for me. To my eye, the two branches add interest and reinforce the elegance of the bloom.   Posted: 07/28/2024 00:17:11

Bev, I agree with Donald. To me, having the base of the blossom come out of the halo adds a three dimensional flair. The image is vibrant and plays well with the blurred background and I love seeing the one small open flower on the bottom left. The only one to show how truly delicate this plant is. Wouldn't change a thing.   Posted: 07/28/2024 00:25:24
