Frank, great exposure and color. The subject is sharp. I like the background. The image is a bit busy because of the nature of the flower. I still find it interesting and pleasing to view!

My almost favorite color but I wish the individual buds were more clearly defined.   Posted: 07/27/2024 20:42:24

Hi Frank, To my eye the textures of the Crepe Myrtle are beautifully captured and the smooth background is delightfully pleasing to me. Well done!   Posted: 07/28/2024 00:28:51

Frank, A very nice image showing the complexities of a Crepe Myrtle. I do find it very busy, however I see many small stories that you could capture which, in my opinion, which would facilitate the image better. Looking at the very top of the image center, using an approx. 3.5"x3.5" square you would contain the flower, stem, small yellow flowers and bud. Filtering out the rest, making it a nice macro.   Posted: 07/28/2024 00:44:05
