October 2026 - WILDFLOWERS
About the Image(s)
This image of wildflowers was taken last fall while taking a late afternoon stroll at the Daniel Wright Forest Preserve in Lake County. The blazing sun seemed to highlight the complementary, fall colors of the wildflowers. The image was taken with my Sony A7IV, at 67 mm, f14, 1/80 sec, and ISO 2000.

Mary Ellen, nice color. Mostly sharp subject, though there looks to be a soft patch in the center-right of the patch of flowers. I can't tell if it's motion blur of if that patch is actually behind the main clump of wildflowers.
