About the Image(s)

I've been away from home and therefore submitting an image from my archives. This is one of my favorites. I loved how the play of light added a sense of drama for me.
It was registered on a tripod with my Canon Rebel XSi, fitted with a 100mm Macro, using the following settings: 2.5 sec., f/32. ISO100. I look forward to your impressions and suggestions. Thank you.

Great detail, great lighting. Really like how the petals look like they're made of metal.   Posted: 04/01/2026 17:07:55

Beautiful monochrome image. The tones really highlight the depth and detail of rose.   Posted: 04/08/2026 02:45:21

Lovely! You captured the beauty and fine details of the rose. Great perspective. The curves of the petals are tack sharp. I like the monochrome treatment. The lighting makes it pop. Nicely done.   Posted: 04/10/2026 14:51:11
