About the Image(s)

Our Rhododendron bush was bursting with blooms this year. I'm glad I removed a sprig before the winds and heavy rains demolished the blooms.
I was surprised to learn that Rhododendrons symbolize an alert to danger and I thought this called for the introduction of a shadow in my still life.
