About the Image(s)
I expect these are flowering weeds. Taken several years ago in Arizona with my D40 and 70 - 300 Tamron lens at f6.3 and shutter at 1/250 second (stabilization on); ISO 200. I used Elements crop the image and used the elliptical selection tool to help darken the periphery of the frame and lighten the center, and to sharpen just the middle of the image a little.

Bev, yest. The vibrance boost does make the image better. Thank you!   Posted: 11/15/2024 18:23:38

Hi Donald,
I find the composition effective with the bright yellow flowers centered in the frame and the lines of the rocks leading my eye to the blooms. The color palette with shades of yellow, orange, and earth tones reinforces a sense of harmony for me.   Posted: 11/14/2024 01:53:22

Charissa, thank you! I did crop in a ways. The plat was surrounded by impressively large boulders, but it still stood out.   Posted: 11/15/2024 18:25:49

Hi Donald,
I like this image and the composition. I see the rocks acting as a vignette to make the blooms the centre focus.
Well seen and well done.   Posted: 11/16/2024 00:07:24
