This is a combination of two photographs. An iPhone photograph of a street in my village and a picture of two women in fancy dress, taken with a Nikon camera, at a charity event we photographed. It is intended to have a 1940s look, mostly suggested by the women’s dress, so I had to remove a few modern elements, like double yellow lines.

Great combination of the two images. I really think you have got the tones of the village right with the gritty sky. So perhaps you should tone down the colourful dresses so that they that they look a little faded and more in keeping with the street? Posted: 05/12/2025 18:32:37
