About the Image(s)
How I did it: Unfortunately, I couldn’t find my original which was a swan taken from the top at my sister’s house on Long Island. She faces an inlet and the swans have been visiting for years because her husband feeds then corn every dat. The original original was showing the head and wings of the mute swan. I originally though it would be interesting to crop and show the symmetry of the swan with the wings. I then discovered that there was not enough sync triu so I decided rho walk half of the swan, duplicate it and flip it so we could achieve total sentry. There was still a dark area around the swan’s neck which I filled in with the clone tool from another part of the swan. This was not exctactly symmetric which I liked because it is always good to do something to make the symmetry a little off making the viewer try to figure out what had happened. I then though that it would be interesting to change the color of th swan, so I totally reversed the colors in Photoshop on a new layer. I then carefully erased the beak area and the eyes so they looked normal It was fun to do. I just wanted you to know that the real original was not symmetrical like this. I hope you enjoy.
