About the Image(s)

I have combined three images with minor adjustments to enhance the atmospheric ambiance. The composition incorporates both camera and phone shots.

This is very reminiscent of Rene Magritte, a popular surrealist artist of the 20th Century. That's a compliment. I enjoyed my visit because of this composite.   Posted: 03/06/2025 09:12:38

Right. I also thought Magritte as soon as I saw this image. Alan would know, as he is a master of this sort of stuff.
This is very nicely done.
But I am not a fan of added birds, or maybe just not so many.   Posted: 03/07/2025 21:29:11

We get a lot of inspiration from artists old and new. I love this image combineing the various elements. I like the birds as they fill the sky in just the way we see them in real life. I would just like to see thehead free from the branches of the tree.   Posted: 03/10/2025 13:22:09

Hi Ian, This O 3 image looks the same to me as Suzy's O 2 image. Did they get mixed together somehow?   Posted: 03/14/2025 11:33:07

I like the composition, Robin, except for the merger between the Man's hat and tree. I prefer that the man be a full silhouette too. Just fussy unimportant things for me. Good idea.   Posted: 03/14/2025 11:52:36

I really like your creativity with this. Like the others- I also thought of Rene Magritte. If Magritte was also your influence for this image, I would maybe tone down or flatten the colors and create full silhouette of man and lighten the right corner slightly.   Posted: 03/14/2025 13:22:09

Rob,
Youu and Suzi. must have been reading each other's minds. What an amazing coincidence. Your version looks to me to be perfect. I love the large ma, who reminds me of Magritte's work, in the corner giving depth to the image. the sky, the moon and the birds all work so well together. I can only say congratulations to a job well done. Also, as an afterthought the colors of the gold and blue are complementary ad go so well together.   Posted: 03/21/2025 22:21:14
