About the Image(s)
The orignial is a capture of the roof in the great glasshouse at the Botanic Garden of Wales. First just a crop to remove the leaves , then I stated to play around with the hue/saturation sliders until I founnd this colour combination. Next in PS Filter > Distort> Wave and adjusting sliders to Type -Sine, Generators 5, Wavelength 10 -120, Amplitude 5- 35, scale 100%.
I truth this was just a bit of fun but I thought a colourful result.

Your post processing has, as usual, made an ordinary image into something eye catching. Really like the colour combination!!
Maybe flip image up the other way so larger waves and darker area is at the base?
Great work.   Posted: 02/06/2025 16:56:45

Certainly an eye catching image. As with most Abstract like images, personal taste seems to come into play more so than say Landscapes.
This one is "Not my cup of tea". For me there is just too much going on, that my eyes struggle what to look at and lead me through the image.   Posted: 02/13/2025 23:47:40

I can't say I'm keen on the pink colour, but I can see why you used this treatment. I think I had a MacBook screen go like this, once.   Posted: 02/19/2025 11:25:06
Ian, You really pulled this off well. No observable relationship to the roof original. I think the colors work together and they certainly make your final image stand out. The amplification of sine curves has a lot to be said for it. I prefer your version of the larger ones on top but I understand where the other version comes from. Good job!   Posted: 02/20/2025 21:56:51
