About the Image(s)
I composited this image in photoshop using the three original images. The background O3 was a river image modification using a pen filter. I added 02 using a Color Dodge blending mode at 80% opacity. Then added O1 using the Exclusion mode. After creating a stamped layer, I added a Depth Blur Neural filter for the final image. I liked the sunset-like effects from the filters and blending modes. I kept the subject simple since color is the main purpose in my opinion. All comments will be considered.

Bob, nicely composed. May I suggest you select the lighthouse and sharpen it. It is quite out of focus. If sharpened it will add impact to the image.

Gary, it is difficult to sharpen at this stage of processing, but I guess with some added sharpness and clarity in LRCC, it may look better to you, but not to me. Thanks for adding comments to the group this month. If you aren't a member of PSA, or DDG, I might consider joining.   Posted: 12/11/2024 18:43:02

Gary was a member of DD18 but chose to leave for another group.
I do not use Lightroom but in Photoshop there is a sharpen tool which enables you to sharpen discreet elements such as your lighthouse without touching the rest.
Personally I think the image if fine as originally presented with the lighthouse tower merging into the orange sky.   Posted: 12/11/2024 20:43:57

Thanks, Ian. There wasn't an avatar with his name, nor had Dorinda been able to find him, and she is helping Barbara keep DDG members current. I wasn't that concerned with the actual sharpness, but many are so I gave it a whirl with LRCC 2025 Classics new AI tools. Didn't really make a difference to me. Alex Morganti has great videos on the 2025 tool changes in Classic for those on the photography plan.   Posted: 12/12/2024 13:46:28

The clean compositing and the variation in colours help to make this a really interesting, albeit quite surreal, picture. In a sense the variation in sharpness lends depth.   Posted: 12/15/2024 15:42:44
